Archer Aims to Complete Transition Flight by Year’s End
Archer Aviation is confident it can fly full transition flights with its aircraft by the end of 2022.
This sentiment is a result of seeing the recent successes of its Maker flight testing program.
Archer believes this is the fastest any electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) company has reached this milestone.
“The advancements we are making in our flight test campaign are nothing short of remarkable,” states Adam Goldstein, Archer’s CEO and Founder.
“The rigorous testing our team has completed over the past several months has helped not only validate our design, but also furthers our mission to certify our production aircraft,” says Dr. Geof Bower, Archer’s Chief Engineer.
The company aims to continue organizing more weekly flight tests during the second half of the year.
Archer recently appointed Tom Anderson as its new Chief Operating Officer, Urban Air Mobility.
