AutoFlight to Unveil Prosperity I eVTOL at Paris Air Show

AutoFlight will publicly debut its Prosperity I eVTOL at the 2023 Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, France from June 19 to 25.

Along with the aircraft itself, which was designed by Frank Stephenson, attendees can also get an up-close look at the full interior design of the cabin.

Tian Yu, AutoFlight’s CEO, said the company has made great headway on the road to commercial launch, which included a historic achievement of the world record for the longest eVTOL flight. The company’s eVTOL flew 250.3 km at its testing facility on February 23, breaking the previous record of 248.8 km set by Joby Aviation in 2021.

“We are excited to present to the world Prosperity I at the 2023 Paris Air Show and showcase the remarkable progress we have achieved in the field of electric vertical take-off and landing,” he said. “We are seeing strong interest from eVTOL flight operators for both the cargo and passenger versions of the aircraft. This event will allow us to share our vision of safe, efficient, and sustainable urban air mobility with a global audience.”

The public unveiling of AutoFlight’s Prosperity I eVTOL comes after the Shanghai-based manufacturer received an order for 205 Prosperity I and Prosperity Cargo electric aircraft from Singapore air fleet management and operation company EvFly in March 2023.
