China Southern Airlines General Aviation and Volant Jointly Develop eVTOL
China Southern Airlines General Aviation Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Volant Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. have signed a cooperation agreement that will see the two companies jointly develop and market eVTOL aircraft.
China Southern Airlines General Aviation is one of the largest helicopter operators in the oil and gas sector and powerline inspections, whilst Volant is one of China’s biggest eVTOL companies.
Both companies say that the agreement signed in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province will help promote, transform and upgrade China’s aviation industry.
