Doroni Launches Series A Funding for eVTOL Development

Doroni Aerospace, the manufacturer of the H1 eVTOL, has kickstarted its Series A Regulation D Offering that will be used for the development of its two-seater electric aircraft. 

Under Regulation D, smaller companies will be permitted to sell securities without having to register with the Securities and Exchange Commission. 

The capital raise will also help fund Doroni’s hopes of getting its aircraft certificated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) towards the latter half of 2024, as well as ensure the company starts delivering eVTOLs to customers in the second half of 2025. 

In the last six months, the Miami-based firm has procured USD$3.6 million from over 1,900 investors through equity crowdfunding.

Yaakov Werdiger, COO of Doroni Aerospace, echoed Merdinger’s sentiments, saying that the new round of funding will enable the company to bring its eVTOL to market, which will provide a new sustainable mode of air travel.

Doroni has successfully conducted a total of 53 test flights in six months on its H1 eVTOL, which can travel 60 miles (100 km) at a top speed of 140 mph (225 kph).
