EvFly has signed a letter of intent with German flight simulation developer F.A.S.T.-Group to leverage their technology for the purpose of pilot training.
Under the agreement, the Singapore-based air fleet management and operation company will utilize F.A.S.T-Group’s all-new Mixed-Reality technology to provide its pilots with a realistic eVTOL flight experience that will enhance safety, as well as the overall speed and quality of training.
The software is easy to ship, install, and maintain, and features a motion platform that increases the realism of the flight simulation. The Roll-off/Roll-on capabilities also make the cockpit interchangeable to boost flexibility.
“By choosing to partner with F.A.S.T.-Group, we know that we are opting for the best in terms of flight simulators and training solutions, as their main objective is to further improve the efficiency and quality of training by providing us with the best-customized solutions,” said Yannick Erbs, Founder and CEO, EvFly.
Till Borngräber, a member of F.A.S.T-Group’s executive board, said the flight simulation technology will help EvFly on its mission to become one of the world’s first eVTOL commercial operators.
“I am very pleased to name EVFLY as one of F.A.S.T.-Groups core partners in the eVTOL industry. EVFLY promises to lead the industry as one of the first eVTOL commercial operators and they share our aim for the highest degree of safety and efficiency,” he said, believing that the joint venture will lay the foundation for “safe and promising” eVTOL flights.
The deal is another feather in the cap for EvFly after it ordered 205 Prosperity I and Prosperity Cargo eVTOL aircraft from AutoFlight in March 2023.
