Ferrovial Hires Kevin Costello for U.S. Vertiport Development

Ferrovial Vertiports, the developer of advanced air mobility (AAM) infrastructure, appointed Kevin Costello as Senior Vice President of business development for the Northeast region of the U.S.

In his new role, Costello will focus on helping the company establish an AAM ecosystem across the East Coast, starting with New York and New Jersey. 

Reporting directly to Ferrovial CEO Kevin Cox, Costello previously worked at JetBlue, where he served as the Director of Properties and Infrastructure Development and led the properties team that dealt with airlines, airport authorities, and business partners across a network that spanned over 100 cities. Before that, he held operational leadership positions at U.S. Airways Express in Boston and LaGuardia Airport Airport in New York. 

Costello is keen to put his experience to use in his new position with Ferrovial and spearhead the development of vertiports in the U.S.

Cox welcomed Costello on board and acknowledged that he will play a key role in assisting Ferrovial implement an expansive network of vertiports.

The addition of Costello comes after Ferrovial signed a letter of intent with Eve Air Mobility in March that revolved around the construction of vertiports for eVTOLs in the U.S. and Europe.
