Halo and Eve Sign LoI on Launching UATM Software

Halo Aviation signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Eve to work on the development and launch of its Urban Air Traffic Management (UATM) software.

This announcement was made during the 2022 Farnborough Air Show.

Halo will use the UATM software to further boost its urban air mobility (UAM) operations.

The companies also intend to develop and utilize UATM modes in regions in the US and UK.

“Eve’s agnostic portfolio of solutions addresses the complexity of UAM networks, which require holistic and integrated services across the ecosystem that connect stakeholders to maintain and improve safety, optimize performance, and reduce operating costs,” says Andre Stein, co-CEO of Eve.

The collaboration strengthens Eve and Halo’s commitment to scaling UAM operations. Eve projects it will launch its aerial solutions in 2026.

Eve recently held its first UAM advisory board meeting in Lisbon, Portugal.
