Volocopter has partnered with Singapore’s Institute of Technical Education (ITE) to launch a VoloCity public exhibition.
The exhibition is located at ITE’s Aerospace Hub and is the first-ever exhibition of its kind. It features a 3D VoloPort scale model and allows visitors to sit inside the VoloCity aircraft.
“We hope to increase public awareness and education on this new form of mobility and the many ways it will benefit Singapore. ITE is an ideal place to display our aircraft, as we hope to inspire the next generation of aviation talent to engage with the emerging UAM industry,” states Christian Bauer, Chief Commercial Officer of Volocopter.
Mr Gan Kim Yong, the Minister for Trade and Industry, as well as German Ambassador to Singapore Dr. Norbert Riedel, both attended the exhibition’s opening ceremony.
Volocopter will further offer free guided tours in Singapore starting in August 2022. Registration is available on Eventbrite.
The company recently expanded its cooperation with joint venture Diehl Aerospace.
