4AIR Signs 100th Client to Drive Aviation Sustainability

Green aviation solutions provider 4AIR has signed contracts with a total of 100 clients, broadening its portfolio of partners in driving sustainability.

Established in January 2021, the company has assembled a diverse client base, which includes business jet operators such as Verijet and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) Embraer and GE Honda Aero Engines. Fixed-base operators (FBO) including Fontainebleau Aviation and commercial airline operators such as Southwest Airlines are also among the clients 4AIR has signed.

Through its commitment to enhancing sustainability, 4AIR has assisted its clients in offsetting or reducing 2.5 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions through the adoption of carbon offset credits and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

Nancy Bsales, 4AIR COO, highlighted the need for aircraft to switch to SAF, especially if there are plans to have them operating beyond the Net Zero Emissions goal slated for 2050.

Kennedy Ricci, 4AIR President, said the company has a clear roadmap to enable aircraft to operate in a much more environmentally-friendly capacity, while acknowledging the need for more solutions.

“4AIR pushes the envelope around our idea of a sustainability program. Our program begins where most others end and lays out a path for a longer-term approach to sustainability,” Ricci added.

Signing the 100th client is the latest in a string of accomplishments for 4AIR as the Boston-based firm joined forces with the National Aviation Transportation Association (NATA) to create the first-ever standardized SAF reporting system in July 2022.

4AIR also launched an initiative under its General Aviation Sustainability Program that makes carbon offsetting possible for individual aircraft owners and operators.
