Air Mobility Startup Made USD 1.2M in First Year Operations

Yugo, the private air mobility platform that provides on-demand business jet and helicopter flights, reported a sales revenue of USD 1.2 million in 2021 for its first year of operation.

The Singapore-based startup provides services including VIP flights, cargo flights, and air ambulance services to its userbase and members. Aiming to expand its capacity in Asia-Pacific, the company is preparing its upcoming fundraising.

The company says that its revenue was generated from private flights both within and between Asia and Europe. Some of the destinations include England, Italy, France, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Yugo aims to provide passengers with safe and convenient travel options, by selecting from a fleet composed of hundreds of aircraft. The fleet includes 90 business jets, 78 turboprops and 65 helicopters.

“2021 was a challenging year with the ups and downs of Covid-19. Yugo’s team has managed to provide great service to our customers and I’m proud of their accomplishment. We are thrilled to continue to best serve our users in their journey and are looking forward to 2022.” said Jim Baldy, Co-Founder and CEO of Yugo

The company is now launching its membership program, seeking to provide members with increased availability with preferred rates. The members will also enjoy benefits from Yugo’s partners, which include a selected range of some exclusive destinations in Asia-Pacific.
