Bestfly Partners with Krimson Aviation in Africa

Bestfly and Krimson Aviation have formed a joint venture, BFK Aviation, to support the growing business aviation sector in Africa.

Under the partnership, Angolan aircraft operator Bestfly will provide aircraft operational knowledge, while Ethiopian-based Krimson Aviation, a flight support, charter, and aviation consultancy company, will offer its expertise in ground support and maintenance services.

BFK Aviation already signed its first partnership agreement with Georgetown, Guyana-based operator Xen Aviation to support the development of new standard operating procedures.

“We want to harness this very specific knowledge and understanding to support stakeholders in nations that want to maximize the sector’s benefits but are still at the early stages of development,” said Lemma, CEO, Krimson Aviation.

The joint venture, led by Nuno Pereira and Dawit Lemma from Bestfly and Krimson Aviation respectively, reflects the growing level of maturity of business aviation in Africa.
