Dassault to Deliver First Middle East Falcon 6X Shortly After Mid-2023

Dassault Aviation says that deliveries of its new Falcon 6X to customers in the Middle East will begin shortly after the aircraft enters into service.

The French manufacturer made the remark in a press release about its participation in the upcoming Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation (MEBAA) show in Dubai.

During the show, which runs between December 6 – December 8,  Dassault will display one of its Falcon 8X private jets.

According to the company, customers in the Middle East have already placed a significant number of orders for the Falcon 6X, which is currently in the final stages of its flight test campaign and is due to enter service partway through 2023.

“Operators in the Middle East highly value the performance, flexibility, robustness and technological excellence of large cabin models like the Falcon 8X, which draw heavily on decades of Dassault fighter aircraft experience,” said Eric Trappier, Chairman & CEO, Dassault Aviation. “This appreciation can only grow with the arrival of the new Falcon 6X and 10X, which will set a new standard in the large cabin segment.”

Separately, Dassault says that its ExecuJet MRO facility at Dubai’s main international airport will shift to its new 15,000sqm (163,000sqf) facility at Dubai World Central Airport, which is due to become operational in early 2023.

Once fully operational the Dubai World Central site will be able to service between 18-24 aircraft simultaneously.
