Duncan Aviation has completed the refurbishment of a 2001 Bombardier Global Express at its Provo, Utah facility, after two years of preparation.
The aircraft’s interior was completely gutted, and the paint was stripped before being transformed into a modern, luxurious space. The refurbished aircraft features an all-white, bright, and cozy interior, achieved through a collaboration between Duncan Aviation’s Provo team and Olivia Putman at Studio Putman.
The updated cabin includes custom-designed seats upholstered with leather and intricate diamond pattern stitchwork, as well as a divan upholstered in Mademoiselle fabric by Great Plains.
In addition to the interior makeover, the aircraft received a 20-year inspection, an extensive and detailed assessment performed during the aircraft’s service life. Duncan also upgraded the aircraft with new LED lighting, a Honeywell RDR-7000 radar upgrade, and a Ka-band connectivity system.
The Bombardier Global Express is a large cabin, ultra-long-range business jet designed for transoceanic flights with a range of 6,700 nautical miles (11,100 km) at Mach 0.80. It offers a spacious cabin that can be configured to hold between 13 and 19 passengers.
