Duncan Aviation Refurbishes Citation VII

Duncan Aviation showcased a newly-acquired Citation VII before getting it repainted and refurbished at the company’s full-service facility in Battle Creek, Michigan.

The aircraft will receive new paint, full interior, a Universal Insight Flight Deck, Gogo AVANCE L3, and USB Power Ports.

The aircraft owners had been jet-card and charter users until Duncan Aviation’s Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions team purchased a Citation S/II in 2020.

“They were certainly making good use of the aircraft, but it also meant that the engine hot sections were coming due nearly a year sooner than originally expected,” said Leah Alexander, Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions, Duncan. “The timing of that maintenance event, along with realizing they would prefer a slightly roomier cabin led them to begin considering an upgrade.”

The Duncan team gave the aircraft a new paint design with a classic white on top and dark charcoal belly, accented by an orange stripe.

Duncan Aviation is an aircraft service provider supporting the aviation needs of business aircraft operators, government agencies, and other aircraft service providers.

The Citation VII manufactured by Cessna is an upgraded version of the Citation III, featuring the same spacious standup cabin and upgraded engine to increase payload, range, and hot & high runway performance.
