FAI Aviation Accepts Cryptocurrency Payment

Germany-based FAI Aviation Group said it will be accepting payments made using cryptocurrency, such as Bitcoin and Ether, across all global services to meet customer needs and increase its customer base.

Following requests from customers, the company announced the decision in a bid to attract new customers and offer existing customers an additional payment option.

Digital currency is gaining popularity among business jet buyers as a safer, faster, and more efficient means of transacting money as it can be done without the need to share sensitive financial information.

“Cryptocurrency offers a fast, secure and efficient alternative that is not limited to the hours when the banks are open. We anticipate our customers will appreciate the choice and that it will help give our business a competitive edge,” Siegfried Axtmann, Chairman and Founder, FAI Aviation Group, said.

The company, which operates Germany´s largest fleet of Bombardier business jets, said it is anticipating record sales for 2022 and group revenues of more than US$127 million.
