General Atomics Receives Praetor Service Certification

General Atomics AeroTec Systems has been approved to provide inspections and services for Embraer Praetor 500 and 600 aircraft at its facility in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. Both aircraft are now included in the company’s Part 145 certificate.

The Business jet MRO, which also provides maintenance services for Bombardier Challengers and Globals,  said it has already completed its first comprehensive annual inspection of Praetor 600.

The addition of both Praetor variants expands its ability to service Embraer aircraft apart from Legacy 500 and 600s, as well as Embraer Lineage aircraft.

In addition to MRO services, General Atomics AeroTec Systems GmbH also offers full aircraft paint services for airliner jets, aircraft component overhaul, avionics shop, mechanical, and non-destructive services. The company is a subsidiary of General Atomics Europe GmbH and is located in Munich-Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany.
