Gulfstream Reaches New Asian Market through Partnership in Vietnam

Gulfstream announced a collaboration with the Hanoi-based luxury business aviation service provider Sun Air, which will see the company become the international sales representative for Gulfstream business aircraft in Vietnam. Through the collaboration, Gulfstream will be able to expand its sales activities in Vietnam, while Sun Air will be responsible for services including aircraft sales, aircraft management and charter management.

“Interest in Gulfstream aircraft continues to grow in Asia, and we are looking forward to continuing to expand our presence and efforts in Vietnam,” said Scott Neal, senior vice president of worldwide sales, Gulfstream. “Sun Air is not only a valued customer, they will also provide Gulfstream local expertise and opportunities to expand our presence in this important market.”

Dang Minh Truong, chairman of Sun Group Corp said “Being the international sales representative for Gulfstream in Vietnam represents a key milestone of Sun Air in the development roadmap of potential luxury general aviation,” He added, “We believe that with Gulfstream’s leading reputation in global aviation industry and Sun Group’s quality-class-distinction emphasized ecosystem, we will create unprecedented luxury aviation experiences in Vietnam.”

Being the second largest OEM in the Asia-Pacific Region (According to Asian Sky Media’s 2020 Business Jet Fleet Report), the collaboration will allow Gulfstream to reach a new customer segment.
