Jet Aviation Expands Service in Middle East

Jet Aviation has expanded its maintenance facility in Dubai in response to evolving customer demands and the growing business aviation sector in the Middle East.

The new facility in Dubai International Airport provides maintenance, interior refurbishment, aircraft inspection, and borescope capabilities for customers.

“Over the past year we have seen more requests for larger cabin refurbishment, structural repair projects, avionic modifications, and upgrades at our fixed-wing maintenance site in Dubai and have adapted and expanded our capabilities to match,” said Hardy Bütschi, Regional Vice President (Middle East), Jet Aviation.

Jet Aviation was founded in Switzerland in 1967 and entered the Middle East with FBO in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 1979. The company, which was acquired by General Dynamics in 2008, also extended line maintenance capabilities at Al Bateen Airport and on-demand services into Abu Dhabi International Airport, with further expansion expected in Saudi Arabia for 2023.

“The Middle East is a key strategic hub in our network, and we are committed to supporting the growth of business aviation across the region,” says Jeremie Caillet, Senior Vice President Regional Operations EMEA, Jet Aviation.
