Signature Aviation Opens Edinburgh Facility

Signature Aviation has opened its fourth fixed-base operation (FBO) in Scotland at Edinburgh Airport, as a part of its expanding global network.

The facility features a 5,575-sq-ft terminal with separate entrances for passengers and crew, VIP suites, and a spacious general aviation ramp that can accommodate aircraft of all sizes.

The facility is located at the busiest airport in Scotland and holds great importance to Signature’s global network. The company has invested heavily in the FBO and its security screening equipment, including a state-of-the-art CT3 X-ray machine upgrade planned for early 2024.

The company is also in talks with airlines to introduce its Elite Class product, which will allow commercial passengers to use the facility for arriving and departing flights. The new FBO is expected to play a significant role in Signature Aviation’s growth in Scotland and the UK.

“We are delighted to officially open our new purpose built FBO in Edinburgh offering a full suite of handling services to our business and general aviation customers. We are looking forward to a successful partnership with Edinburgh Airport as we grow our business in Scotland and the UK,” said John-Angus Smith, Managing Director, Signature Aviation.
