Skyservice Opens FBO in California

Skyservice, the Canadian business aviation services provider, has officially opened its Napa California FBO at Napa County Airport (APC).

The fixed-operator base (FBO) is currently situated in a temporary building and will shift to a new complex that Skyservice will begin constructing in the third quarter of 2023.

The facility features separate lounge accommodations for guests and flight crew, snooze rooms for pilots, and concierge services. Precision ground handling services, electric ground power units (GPUs), hangar and ramp accommodations, and competitively priced Jet A fuel are also available.

“As a full-service business aviation company for over 36 years, we understand the evolving needs of private jet aviation clients. Our unwavering commitment and focus are to deliver unmatched safety and service excellence while delivering full aircraft ownership support,” Benjamin Murray, Skyservice President and CEO, said.

Skyservice’s permanent FBO, which is scheduled to be completed in 2025, will span 60,000 square feet. It comes with a 20,000 square foot terminal, which offers office space, a passenger lounge, flight planning area, and a pilot suite. A 40,000 square foot hangar will also be built, which will be able to accommodate the latest ultra-long-range business jets, including those produced by Bombardier and Gulfstream.

The Napa FBO is the latest feather in the cap for Skyservice as the company opened FBOs in Vancouver and Seattle in February and March 2023 respectively.
