Textron Aviation Delivers First Passenger Unit of Cessna SkyCourier

Textron Aviation said it delivered the first passenger unit of the Cessna SkyCourier since it started certification and delivery in 2022.

The twin-engine, large-utility turboprop was delivered to Western Aircraft in Hawaii and will provide luxury passenger transport service between the Hawaiian island of Oahu to the island of Lanai.

“The Cessna SkyCourier is well on its way to becoming a legendary aircraft for our company,” said Lannie O’Bannion, senior vice president, Global Sales and Flight Operations, Textron Aviation, highlighting the versatility, cabin flexibility, payload capability, performance, and low operating costs.

The SkyCourier features easy operation and maintenance and has the option to be converted from a 19-seat passenger configuration to a cargo configuration.

The announcement only came a day after Textron launched the Cessna Citation Ascend at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) being held in Geneva, Switzerland.
