Vista Acquires Jet Edge

In response to increasing demand in North America, Vista  Group Holding is adding new aircraft to its fleet through the acquisition of Jet Edge.

Vista is aiming to complete the transaction of the US-based large-cabin and super-midsize private jet operator by Q2 2022. The transaction will help Vista Group to increase its fleet availability to 350 aircraft, it will also increase the company’s availability in the US market.

Thomas Flohr, Founder and Chairman of the Group said that adding Jet Edge to Vista Group will allow the company to scale up its presence in North America. In addition, Jet Edge operates the largest fleet of Gulfstream’s available for charter, which will give Vista’s clients access to an additional 100 aircraft. Jet Edge’s CEO, Bill Papariella, will lead Vista’s executive team and said that the merging will allow Jet Edge’s members will get access to Vista Group’s extensive global fleet and services.

In addition to the acquisition of Jet Edge, Vista Group Holding also acquired Air Hamburg in February to respond to the increasing demand for business aviation in Europe.
