China’s AC352 Gains Airworthiness Certification

The AC352, a mid-sized helicopter developed by Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) Harbin Aircraft Industry, has received its certificate of airworthiness from the Chinese authorities.

The AC352 is a mid-sized twin-engine utility helicopter. It can carry 16 passengers and has a 7.5-tonne maximum take-off weight.

A total of 87 tests were required during the certification process, including take-off and landing, level flight, climb performance, stability, and low-speed operations.

Following 37.25 hours of testing, the aircraft will be entering the final stage of testing, which will further verify its diverse functions and reliability.
