Dubai Helipark Starts Second Phase Construction

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) has announced that construction has begun on the second phase of Dubai Helipark, its helicopter center at Dubai South Airport in partnership with Air Chateau International.

Dubai Helipark is adjacently located to the airport’s private jet terminal where Jetex and Falcon Aviation both have an FBO presence.

Phase two of the Helipark will feature a new landside helicopter hangar and an extension of the existing apron to accommodate up to 12 parked helicopters. The expansion will also feature a VIP lounge, and a helicopter showroom, which will enable Air Chateau International to provide MRO services.

“Since the successful launch of the first phase of Dubai Helipark, we have been overwhelmed by the positive response from private helicopter owners and key stakeholders. As a result, we are expecting a remarkable increase in the number of operations in the coming quarters,” said Samir Mohammed, Charmain and Founder, Air Chateau International.
