Delivery Center for Bell 407 Announced in China

Bell Helicopter announced its first Bell 407 authorized delivery center in Asia, which commenced operations in the Chinese city of Xi’an on December 20 this year.

Shaanxi Helicopter Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Shaanxi Energy Group, will operate and manage the aircraft as its exclusive distributor in China.

Shaanxi Helicopter is Bell’s biggest helicopter customer in Asia and has received a delivery of over 70 helicopters from Bell since 2017.

“Shaanxi Helicopter is honored to manage the Bell 407 helicopter Authorized Delivery Center. We will continue to provide localized and reliable services and improve the delivery experience for local customers,” said Hui Xiaoming, Deputy General Manager, Shaanxi Helicopter. “The new authorized delivery center will further strengthen the bond between us and our customers. We look forward to introducing Bell 407 helicopters to our customers in this brand new facility.”

Bell 407 is a single-engine and four-blade light helicopter with the ability to operate at high temperatures and altitudes. Over 1,600 Bell 407 helicopters are in service around the world for the purpose of helicopter emergency medical services and tourism, with 100 of them operating in mainland China.
