Leonardo Appoints Gualter Helicopters as AW09 Distributor in Brazil

SonAir Airline Services (SonAir) has ordered two AW139 helicopters from Leonardo.
The helicopters will be used to carry out transport operations for the oil and gas industry in Angola, as well as replace aging helicopters.
The contract also includes customer support and training services, and includes options for an additional two aircraft.
Both helicopters are due to be delivered in the first quarter of 2023.
Leonardo previously participated in the ILA Berlin 2022 Airshow.
