China Builds up Firefighting Capacity

Bell Textron has delivered the third Bell 429 helicopter to Kuwait International Aircraft Leasing for Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS).
The aircraft, which performs well in extreme summer temperatures, was delivered to Kuwait International Aircraft Leasing (KIAL) and will provide HEMS to the country’s Ministry of Health.
“This new aircraft means we can expand our services even further, helping mobilize patients quickly and comfortably to medical facilities; and ultimately, save more lives,” said Steven Mathews, Vice President, Kuwait International Aircraft Leasing.
The Bell 429, which by the beginning of the year logged a total of 500,000 global flight hours, is capable of carrying out missions including corporate transportation, law enforcement and HEMS.
