Entrepreneur Acquires Enstrom Aviation

American Entrepreneur Chuck Surack has acquired Menominee, Michigan based Enstrom Helicopter Corporation.

Chuck Surack is known as the founder of Sweetwater Sound, an online retailer of musical instruments and professional audio equipment.

In addition to Sweetwater Sound, Surack is also the CEO of Sweet Flights, a helicopter operator that offers charter, training, and rental services.

Enstrom will be joining Sweet Aviation. The immediate goal will be to support pilots who own Enstrom helicopters by providing parts and support.

Matt Francour, President & CEO of Enstrom said, “Earlier this year it looked as if MidTex Aviation would step in and buy Enstrom, but when they had unexpected problems securing the funding, Chuck was able to step in and save the company, which ended a lot of sleepless nights here for us in Michigan!”

According to Asian Sky Media’s China GA Report 2021, Enstrom is the seventh-largest Helicopter OEM in the Asia-Pacific region.
