Cirrus Needs More Manpower

Still feeling the effects of the pandemic, Cirrus is seeing a manpower imbalance with its increasing demand for its aircraft.

CEO of Cirrus, Zean Nielsen said that despite the company having doubled its production of aircraft in the past three years, it still experiences long lead times thanks to a lack of manpower.

A customer wanting to buy a Cirrus aircraft would have to wait until 2024 before they could take delivery.

To increase its productivity Nielsen said the manufacturer is aiming to add 400 employers to the team this year.

According to Asian Sky Media’s China GA Report 2021, Cirrus Aircraft is the fourth-largest turboprop and piston fixed-wing OEM in the Asia-Pacific region.
