Gulfstream Expands Field Service in Brazil

Gulfstream Aerospace has enhanced its field service representative (FSR) team in South America with the appointment of Roberto César Oliveira.

The Savannah-based manufacturer has also partnered with local MROs Líder Aviação and Aero Rio Táxi Aéreo to provide warranty repairs, maintenance services and spare parts for Gulfstream aircraft.

César Oliveira, with more than 20 years of aviation experience and extensive knowledge of Gulfstream aircraft, avionics and maintenance planning, was appointed as the Gulfstream Customer Support FSR for Brazil. He holds a number of Federal Aviation Administration and National Civil Aviation Agency licenses and is based in São Paulo.

The move will complement the company-owned service centers in Palm Beach, Florida, and Savannah to provide comprehensive and timely support throughout the region.

“We constantly seek opportunities to enhance our worldwide Customer Support efforts,” said Derek Zimmerman, President, Gulfstream Customer Support. “Roberto has already been working directly with Gulfstream customers in this region for years, and his extensive knowledge and existing relationships will serve him well as a trusted and invaluable resource for our customers in Brazil.”

Gulfstream Aerospace has its G500 and G650ER in the LABACE static display in Brazil this week.
