IBAC Renews ACASS’s Safety Registration

The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) has issued the second consecutive renewal of IS-BAO Stage 3 registration to ACASS, a Montreal-based business aviation support services company.

The registration proves that Safety Management System (SMS) activities are fully integrated into ACASS’s aircraft management operations.

Derek Holter, VP of Operations, ACASS, said the recognition by IBAC shows the company’s positive safety culture and commitment to operational safety for clients and the business aviation community.

“Even in the midst of the major pandemic-related challenges of the last couple of years, our safety standards and practices have remained impeccable,” said Holter.

IS-BAO Stage 3 registration is issued by IBAC and has been awarded to only a select group of aircraft operators worldwide. Audits are conducted every two to three years to ensure conformance with the standards and recommended practices.

The IS-BAO Stage 3 is a code of best practices designed to help flight departments worldwide achieve a superior level of safety and professionalism.

ACASS provides highly customized support services for business aviation worldwide.
