Skyports Signs MOU with PARK24

Skyports and PARK24 have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The companies aim to explore how vertiports can be combined with parking networks.

The MoU includes other partners, including Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance and Kanematsu Corporation.

Aioi Nissay Dowa will provide insurance for ground infrastructure; Kanematsu remains an investor in Skyports.

The companies will launch joint investigations and feasibility assessments in the Kansai area, particularly in Osaka. This will highlight which of PARK24’s parking lots can be developed with vertiports.

“The partnership will enable us to leverage PARK24’s extensive portfolio of facilities for vertiport development to unlock value for PARK24’s customers, partners, and the users in surrounding communities,” says Yun-Yuan Tay, Head of APAC at Skyports.

Skyports plans to continue developing a safe and accessible advanced air mobility (AAM) ecosystem in Japan.

The company also recently signed an MoU with Jurong Port in Singapore.
