Quickstep Joins Greenbird’s Group

Aerospace manufacturer Quickstep has joined Greenbird’s industry collaboration platform.

Quickstep is capable of supporting aerospace structures and components. It also provides services such as design, manufacturing, maintenance, and repair for aerospace composites.

The company has also made recent efforts to advance into the advanced air mobility (AAM) industry.

“Having on board an Australia based manufacturing organization, with such considerable capabilities, is a major step to advancing AAM in Australia…Working with our members we can connect original equipment manufacturers with organisations like Quickstep to progress the development of Australian-made eVTOLs,” states Greenbird Managing Director Sara Hales.

“As Australia’s leading independent aerospace composites manufacturer we have a key role to play in growing this sector. Becoming a part of the Greenbird team allows us to work with likeminded industry experts who have the same vision of making AAM a success in Australia,” says Quickstep Applied Composites Executive General Manager, Steve Osborne.

Quickstep has supported other operators such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and the Qantas Group.

Greenbird is pushing for the development of AAM in Australia and will announce more partners soon.
