VPorts has been selected to build and operate a vertiport at Aeroporto Internacional de São Paulo (GRU), Brazil.
It forms part of a 40-year concession agreement with airport authorities.
The vertiport aims to be sustainable, safe, and offer a unique travel experience to customers.
VPorts will work with Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and other eVTOL operators to develop the vertiports.
The vertiport will open at the end of 2023, with over 100,000 travelers per year expected to use it by 2045.
