XPENG AEROHT to Conduct Flying Car Flight Performance Tests in Dubai
XPENG AEROHT says that 11 members of its project team will take three Traveler X2 eVTOLs to Dubai for compliance test flights.
The company will also participate in GITEX GLOBAL, the world’s largest and most inclusive technology event from October 10 to October 14 whilst in Dubai.
The 2-ton Traveler X2 adopts a carbon fiber structure and weighs 560 kg when empty. It has a maximum load capacity of 200 kg and can carry two passengers. It has a maximum endurance of 35 minutes and a maximum speed of 130 km/h.
Founded in September 2020, XPENG AEROHT is the largest flying car company in Asia. In 2021 it raised more than USD$500 million during a Series A funding round, which is so far the most significant single round of funding in Asia’s low-altitude manned aircraft sector.
